Smouldering Ember

Blazing opalescent alabaster glow,

A searing intensity in sharp contrast

Poised to burn in a blaze for eternity

Fueled by the invigorating breath of life.

Without flame - no heat, no light.

Without fuel - no flame, no life.

  3. Wow. When I first saw this image I was reminded of those from Inferno. You brought that to mind again here, whether intended or not.

    I also like your closing.
